What Concordia does today
Group voice with noise suppression and per-person volume, up to four screens at once, chat with images, replies and reactions, moderation by the owner and a Windows app.
Voice
Join a channel with one click and talk. The ring around a nickname shows who is speaking.
You can pick your microphone and your sound output, test them beforehand and swap them mid-conversation. Each person’s volume is yours: turn them up or mute them just for you, and your choice comes back next time.
You talk by voice activity or by holding a key — and Concordia never touches your Windows microphone volume.
Screen
Up to four people can share at the same time in the same room, with sound whenever the browser allows it. You choose the quality among five levels, from “Saver” to “Maximum”, and change the source without stopping the share.
Whoever is watching clicks to focus, double-clicks for full screen, or pops the picture out into a floating window. Whoever is sharing sees how many people are watching.
Chat
Every text channel and every voice room has its own conversation. You can paste, drag or attach images, reply to a message, edit it, delete it, react with an emoji and call someone with @.
Messages you have not read stay marked, with a “New messages” divider and a counter in the channel list — and that survives closing the window and changing computers.
Moderation by the owner
The server owner takes command from inside the conversation itself, with the admin password. From there they can move someone to another room, mute them, disconnect them from the channel, kick them out or ban them for a while.
In a separate panel they create and rename channels, set how many people fit in each room and change the passwords. Changing the admin password drops everyone’s command, theirs included.
Windows app
The app is the same screen as the browser, with three advantages: push to talk works even with the game in front, a whole screen goes out with your computer sound, and Concordia sits in the tray, telling you when a message arrives.
It also opens several floating windows with your friends’ screens, and updates itself with one click.
