Concordia has a single owner: whoever pays for the server and set the passwords. He acts with the admin password — being signed in is not enough.
How he takes command
He clicks his own nickname, on the bottom bar.
He picks Take command as owner… and types the admin password.
A shield appears on the bar. From then on, each person’s menu gains an Owner section.
What he can do to someone
- Move to another room — the person is told and stays connected.
- Mute on the server — that person’s microphone stays off until the owner gives it back. Leaving and coming back does not undo it.
- Deafen on the server — the person stops hearing until the owner gives it back.
- Disconnect from the channel — they leave the voice room, stay connected and can come back.
- Kick from the server — they land on the sign-in screen. They return with the server password.
- Ban for a while — it drops all of that person’s devices and blocks their internet address for a few hours.
What he does in the panel
Create, rename, reorder and delete channels; set how many people fit in each room; adjust the sound quality of each room; choose after how many idle minutes somebody goes to the Away room; and change both passwords.
