Watching a share

   Join the voice channel where somebody is sharing. The shares appear in the middle.

   One click puts a share in focus. Another click goes back to the grid.

   Two clicks open it full screen. Esc leaves.

   Move the mouse over the picture to see the controls; they fade away on their own when you stop moving.

   To adjust only the sound of that share, right-click the picture and use the volume control. You can also mute that one share.

   Click Open in a floating window to pop the picture out into a small separate window that stays on top of your other programs.

The floating window in the Windows app

In the Windows app the floating window goes further: you can put more than one share in the same window and open as many windows as you like. If the person stops sharing, the window does not close — it waits and fills itself back in when the share returns.

If you want the share numbers (size, frames and bandwidth), reveal the controls and turn the indicator on. Hidden, it measures nothing.
